The 52 series lithium battery-powered versions, such as 523/525/527, do not support eMMC because the system must boot from external storage attached to MPI2. However, the MPI2 interface conflicts with the SDMMC interface, making eMMC unusable.

If eMMC functionality is required, it is recommended to use the 52J chip. The 52J supports booting from eMMC or SD card and can load programs into PSRAM for execution.

So the lithium battery series can only boot using NAND and NOR, right? Can eMMC be mounted as a U-disk?

After mounting NAND or NOR, you can no longer mount eMMC.
